Calendar of Events for December announced.

At yesterday's annual meeting of WHODP Association:  Mr. Kurzenberger announced the following events for December:

Sunday, December 14th, 7:30 pm. 
A Concert at the Wallace House featuring Mr. Bob Mouland
Enjoy the sound of music on  period instruments in an historic setting.  Seating in the Wallace House is limited, so reservations are a MUST. Same night arrivals, $20 only if space permits. Reserve early.

Sunday December 21st, Groups at 6, 7, and 8 pm
 Four Days Before Christmas...
What was likely to be going on just before Christmas at the Wallace House and the Old Dutch Parsonage in the 18th century? Here's your chance to find out.  Please register for your time. $10 for advance registration/$15 for same day.

Lecture Cancelled

Mr. Kurzenberger stated today that the lecture previously scheduled for next Saturday is cancelled.

The annual meeting of the Association will be held Saturday, November 15th at 3:30 pm as previously announced.  We hope to see you there!

REMINDER: BAKE OVEN EVENT COMING UP

Saturday, Nov. 8:  18th Century Bake Oven Demonstration at The Wallace House and Old Dutch Parsonage Historic Sites
 Michele Dansak will demonstrate the use of a wood-fired, 18th century bake oven at the Old Dutch Parsonage, from 2 pm to 3:30.  The demonstration will include the preparation of the food items that will then be baked in the oven. In addition, a special tour of The Wallace House and Old Dutch Parsonage will be available after the demonstration. The bake oven demonstration takes place outdoors; please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
For those who wish to participate by assisting in the bake oven process, the price is $15 per person.  Those who choose to attend as observers will be charged a fee of $10.

Candlelight Tours at the Wallace House

Now that the clocks have been turned back, 'tis the season for
nighttime tours at the Wallace House.  Candle light tours run from now through March, 2015.

 Jim Kurzenberger will schedule these tours for private groups of 10 or more on Wednesday through Saturday.  All programs are $10 per person and require advance reservations.  Please contact Jim directly at 725-1015 to schedule your tour group and for additional information.
